Afternoon David,

Sorry for the late reply. Had a random trip to an old friends dairy farm in Shrewsbury over Easter that I took my boys to so now only catching up on a few bits.

The tender document is not out yet. Still a number of weeks away from finishing all the relevant reports. Everything is still more than on schedule for exchange at the end of August as agreed.

Still having calls, meetings and emails daily to keep the ball rolling. Whilst im always frustrated at the pace things tend to go at these days, everything is tracking nicely and we should still hopefully have some work on site late Summer/Early Autumn as originally planned.

Talking to my solicitor today he has asked for an update on your position regarding the one acre.

I explained you were going to tender and a decision could not be made until the outcome is known.

 

He is keen to progress the option agreement on the balance of the site (or the whole if you do not proceed) and would like a decision from you as soon as possible.

I therefore wondered whether the tender documents have been sent out and if you have a date by which these should be returned and a response provided.

 

Whilst I am not pushing you for an immediate decision it would be useful to put some dates by which the answer can be achieved.

 

You will be pleased to learn that the developer is going to pursue an open market scheme rather than a full affordable scheme, hopefully this could provide you with a customer base

which enjoys higher incomes.
