Reading Shopping Trip
The Reading Shopping Trip is on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. Bookings are made through the Henley Volunteer Bureau on 01491 572923. The Bureau's opening hours are 10.15am to 12 noon Mondays to Fridays. The lines are often busy so you might like to use ring back. If the line is busy press 5 and then hang up. BT do make a charge for the ring back service. Pick ups start at 8.50am with the bus arriving in Reading behind John Lewis at about 9.55am. The bus returns at 12 noon with the last drop off at about 1pm. If you have a bus pass there is no charge but if you do not a small charge is made. There is plenty of room on the bus for shopping bags and trolleys. It is 'first come first serve' with 14 seats available.
